German rail operator Deutsche Bahn [DBN.UL] said on Friday it had discovered an accounting fraud at its Schenker freight unit in Belgium which amounted to several tens of millions of euros going back several years. 'There were false accounts and we are talking about several tens of millions of euros,' a spokeswoman said.
The fraud would not, however, affect the accounts of DB Mobility Logistics which is due to be partially privatised in a couple of months.
