Four ex-managers of an Orange County auto dealership allegedly inflated used car values using "phantom upgrades" to defraud customers and lenders.
The former employees of Douglas Nissan were arrested Wednesday, some 13 months after investigators raided the Orange dealership and confiscated computers and paperwork. The dealership is now called Stadium Nissan. Frank Ignacio Urbano, Luz Belem Corral, Kevin Allen DeRosier and Marwan Abdellatif are each charged with multiple felony counts of forgery, grand theft and conspiracy.Prosecutors say the defendants manipulated Kelley Blue Book used car values by falsely telling banks the vehicles had leather interiors, DVD players, navigation systems and premium wheels.
