former director of the Harvey Park District admitted in federal court Friday that he used a district credit card for personal expenses as well as campaign materials used in a run for a school board post.Kendall Parrott, 49, pleaded guilty to one count of fraud and faces up to 18 months in prison. Sentencing is set for Nov. 19.Parrott is one of three Harvey officials charged in a scheme that ran from 2002 to 2004. Former administrator Linda Hudson pleaded guilty this week, while charges against Julius Patterson, Park District board president, are pending.Assistant U.S. Atty. April Perry told Norgle that Parrott used the credit card for campaign signs as well as auto repairs and prescription drugs. He was seeking a seat on the Prairie Hills School District 144 board, Perry said.Parrott admitted he directed a parks employee to conceal the fraud in the Park District books by labeling them "board-related expenses" or "special events."
