William Stewart, 48, and Sandra Hollis, 45, both from Dundee, were picked up in Burnley, Lancashire. Officers wanted to speak to them about more than a dozen fraud-related crimes carried out in Tayside, Fife, Grampian and Lancashire. Cheques, belonging to various businesses and individuals, were used to buy expensive goods and services. Tayside Police had been appealing for information about the pair.
