Adviser guilty of role in £1.8m mortgage fraud - IFAonline: "A Bradford financial adviser has pleaded guilty to taking part in a “calculated and sophisticated” £1.8m mortgage fraud.
Maboob Abbas, 53, owner of Jaffrey Financial Services in Bradford, pleaded guilty at Leeds Crown Court and was sentenced to 40 weeks in jail, suspended for 12 months.
The judge also ordered he carry out 192 hours of unpaid community work."
