Consultant indicted in NY insider trading
case - BusinessWeek: "A former consultant for a securities research firm that provided links between hedge funds and public companies has been indicted on insider trading charges in New York.Winifred Jiau (jow) remains held without bail. The government successfully argued she was a risk to flee to her native Taiwan.
The indictment charges her with conspiracy to commit securities fraud and wire fraud, and securities fraud. Her lawyers did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
She was expected to appear in court Wednesday."
