Joseph Thornburgh faces charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud, wire fraud and money laundering.The 60-year-old Thornburgh pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released on $25,000 bond.The indictment accuses Thornburgh and three other men of convincing people to invest in nearly worthless bonds. The bonds include those issued in the 1850s by GH&H Railroad and items issued in China in the early 1900s.<br />The four allegedly told investors that hundreds of millions of dollars in interest had accrued on the bonds and that payment was still due.<br />The bonds actually had only a nominal value as collector's items.The other three defendants have not made court appearanc
