Julie Stanton, 36, of Richmond was arrested Monday and charged in neighboring Henry County with two felony counts of welfare fraud that carries a possible sentence of two to eight years in prison.<br />While working as a supervisor at the Division of Family Resources in New Castle in 2006, Stanton arranged to receive food stamps and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families funds, Special Agent Darrell Boehmer of the state Inspector General's office said in a probable cause affidavit.<br />She set up the benefits account in her boyfriend's name and entered false mailing addresses and Social Security numbers, the affidavit said.<br />Stanton, who resigned from FSSA on Aug. 15, does not have a published telephone listing and she could not be reached for comment Wednesday.
