A Canadian trucker will lose more than $267,000 found hidden in his rig during a traffic stop in Somerset County.
Fifty-three-year-old Ebrahim Mansouri of Toronto pleaded guilty in October for not reporting the money when he entered the country.
State police in Somerset found the money during a traffic stop on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in September 2006 and say it tested positive for cocaine and heroin residue.
Mansouri says he didn't have a bank account and that the money was gambling winnings and wages he had saved.
Under Thursday's sentence, Mansouri will forfeit the money and he will be turned over to immigration officials. He was given credit for 16 months he spent in jail but must serve three years' probation.
